16 October 2025

Arrive at O. R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA).You will be met by our representative, who will escort you to the Da Divinci, our upmarket hotel, located in the upscale suburb of Sandton. This luxurious property will be home for our stay in Johannesburg.

17 October 2025

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Meet at the hotel lobby for our tour of the struggle against apartheid in Johannesburg and Soweto. No visit to South Africa is complete without a visit to the world-famous Apartheid Museum. The Apartheid Museum opened in 2001 and is acknowledged as the pre-eminent museum in the world dedicated to 20th-century South Africa, at the heart of which is the apartheid story.

This museum is a must-visit for one to understand what the real apartheid South Africa was like. It is a beacon of hope showing the world how the country is coming to terms with its oppressive past and building on the future.

We then leave the Apartheid Museum for Soweto. We will visit the home of Nelson Mandela, now a museum, as well as the site of the 1976 student uprising and the Hector Peterson Memorial. Enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants in Vilakazi Street which is known as the most famous street in the whole world where 2 NOBEL Peace Prize winners once lived.

We depart the hotel with breakfast packs very early in the morning for Pilanesberg. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is located just over 200 km from Johannesberg. The game reserve is situated in a 50000 hectars of land within hills and valleys in the muchsought after malaria- free area. The park is home to over 7000 animals including the Big Five and over 300 bird species. We explore this unique and untamed wilderness for a variety of wildlife, flora and fauna. With some luck we have a chance of spotting the Big5.

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to ORTIA for the flight to Victoria Falls. Arriving at the luxurious Avani Victoria Falls, we relax until early afternoon when we get transported to the Zambezi River to enjoy a sunset cruise. This is a fantastic way to relax at the end of the day. One gets to see the sun set while cruising the mighty Zambezi River. We also have a chance of wildlife sightings while on the cruise.

After a relaxed breakfast, our knowledgeable guide leads us to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls. This is an astounding natural beauty with misty rainbows and thundering waters. Our guide will walk you through this rain forest with stops at different view-points. The vegetation in Victoria Falls is different due to the constant spray from the falls.

This morning we bid farewell to Victoria Falls and head to the airport for the flight to Cape Town.

Reaching Cape Town, our guide transports us to the Commodore Hotel via city orientation tour. The guide will relate the history of this oldest city in South Africa.

Cape Peninsula Tour. Some of the highlights includes a visit to Cape Point and Boulders Beach. Cape Point is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula, a mountainous and scenic landform that runs north-south for about thirty kilometers at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent in South Africa. Boulders Beach is a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders, from which the name originated.

Table Mountain and Robben Island

Table Mountain is a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town which got its name from its flat top which resembles a table top. Table Mountain is one of the oldest mountains in the world with rocks approximately 600 million years. It is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

We depart Table Mountain for the Waterfront to catch the ferry to go and spend the day at Robben Island (weather permitting). Here you get to see Nelson Mandela’s prison cell. Mandela was transferred to Robben Island on the 27th May 1963 up until 1982.

The Winelands

This day we will spend exploring 2 wine farms, starting in Franschoek at Haute Cabriere for a cellar tour and wine tasting. This is a farm founded on family values, community and sharing.

We then proceed to Delaire Graff Estate, known as the jewel of the CapeWinelands. Here we indulge in another wine tasting.

We then settle for lunch (on own account) before our journey back to Cape Town where we prepare for our departure the next day.
